Business Summary:
The rise of COVID-19 has brought about increased awareness of disease transmission, leading to the creation of breathalyzer devices that can detect the presence of contagious diseases. Additionally, pollution levels and toxic gases have become significant concerns, driving the need for breathalyzers that can monitor and identify these pollutants for public health and environmental safety. This breathalyzer system in airports, stadiums, schools enhance public health safety, detects hazardous chemicals, and ensures product safety, product compliance, and personnel protection in food industry and military. This design offers the potential to diagnose contagious diseases through volatile organic compounds (VOC) and gas detection in human breath, enabling the fabrication of breathalyzers for widespread screening. Project studies coating PCs with mucus-like electrolytes, enabling controlled thickness and constant dispensing, improving sensing mechanisms and disposable sensor development for various industries. It also holds applications in the food industry and military for detecting hazardous chemicals, while disposable sensor arrays could be developed for compact and sensitive e-nose devices used in diverse fields like public health, agriculture, medicine, and food industries.
