Ultra Low Noise Transimpedence Amplifier for Blood Glucose Monitoring Systems

Competitive Advantages

  • High sensitivity
  • Low power consumption
  • Improved accuracy and range for blood glucose measurements
  • Decreased noise from measurements

Summary

USF inventors have created an ultra low noise and power transimpedance amplifier (TIA) to be used with a glucose meter. A multistage complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) TIA system has been designed. This novel technology has multiple advantages, including low power consumption, low input impedance, and low noise.
