Systems and Methods for Digital Asset Organization

The Problem:

Currently there are issues with the efficiency and effectiveness of organization of digital objects (pictures, video, audio). Traditionally, digital objects have been organized by the date the event occurred. However, there hasn’t been a robust method to organize digital objects by subject matter yet. Each digital object is represented by its own metadata, however, this requires indexing individual digital assets and is costly and time consuming.

The Solution:

The technology is an indexing method for publishing markets driven by the human element (digital asset management). It operates by organizing digital objects by the characterization of the individual image. For example, this would allow for pictures and videos regarding football games to have the digital objects organized by type of play (run, pass, punt, etc. along with any defining features (resulted in touchdown, field goal, missed block, etc.). The inventor proposes a time-based organization method that would allow for easy access to digital assets from sports with an emphasis on football.
