ABSTRACT

A new class of self-assembling peptides with hyaluronic acid-binding domains shows great promise for biomedical applications, particularly in treating injuries, cancer, and enhancing the function of implantable devices. These peptides self-assemble into nanofibers and form hydrogels, positioning them as potential therapeutic agents for inflammatory conditions and offering protective coatings for biomedical devices. Their adaptability and multifunctionality highlight their potential to drive innovative solutions in medical treatments and device integration.
