PRODUCT OPPORTUNITIES
• Inherently flame-retardant polymer materials that meet flammability codes or standards
• A wide variety of fire-resistant products, such as construction materials, foams, furniture, coatings, adhesives, electrical systems, etc., that are made from inherently flame-retardant, deoxybenzoin-containing polymers or cured epoxy resins
ADVANTAGES
• Halogen-free
• Inherently flame-resistant
• High thermal stability and low heat of combustion
TECHNOLOGY DESCRIPTION
This invention provides novel, deoxybenzoin-based anti-flammable polymers and cured epoxy resins for a variety of end-use applications.
