Continuous Wireless Powering of Moving Biological Sensors

Competitive Advantages

  •     Delivers a constant power supply
  •     Prolonged and continuous data collection
  •     Increased data resolution
  •     Small and easy to use

Summary

USF researchers have developed an innovative solution that allows for efficient energy collection and conversion, regardless of the motion of the subject. The system continuously delivers a constant power supply to the sensors, which enables long term and accurate data collection. It can also be adapted to work with any sensor and subject in an enclosed space, and is composed of six components: energy transmitters, receiving antenna, energy harvester, energy storage unit, microprocessor and sensor.
