This invention is a radioulnar wrist compression device designed to treat carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) involving a biomechanical approach to augment the carpal arch area. This device involves mechanisms of wrist compression for carpal arch space augmentation to alleviate median nerve compression and restore impaired neurophysiological and biomechanical functions of the nerve in CTS patients. Background: Despite the widespread burden of CTS, clinical management of this disease can be challenging. Currently, there are many different methods of treating CTS that involve conservative or surgical intervention. Very few of therapeutic options involve using a wrist stabilization device and a biomechanical approach to augment the carpal arch area.
