CAH216

CAH216  is an intermediate-maturing maize hybrid bred for the tropical lowlands of South Asia. This high-yielding, yellow-kernel maize hybrid performs well under drought conditions, and has tolerance to TLB, FSR, and ear rots.   General Information   Target Region South Asia   Adaptation/Agroecological zone Tropical Lowland   Type of product Single-cross hybrid   Year first announced 2024             Kernel Characteristics Grain Yield   Kernel color Yellow Grain yield under opt. 8.17 t/ha   Kernel texture Semi-flint Grain yield on-farm 5.80 ± 2.14 t/ha       Grain yield under DT 3.60 t/ha   Biotic Stress Performance Grain yield under Mod.
