CIMMYT's South Asia heat- and drought-tolerant (SAHDT) pipeline focuses on developing medium- to late-maturing maize hybrids with yellow grain color that are high-yielding, with good standability, tolerance to drought-plus-heat stress, and resistance to TLB and macrophomina stalk rot.
