This technology is a system and method configured for measurement of an electronic delay response of a dielectric system triggered by a strong driving optical field of sub-femto-second pulses. The produced electronic response demonstrates all-optical light field sampling operating with sub femto / attosecond resolution. This invention demonstrates the on-demand quantum electron motion control in solid-state with the use of synthesized waveforms. Background: Attosecond pulses generation and spectroscopic measurements in gases and solids open a new window into the study of electronic driven by strong fields in real-time. Understanding electron dynamics and the related phase transition will allow for further study into quicker processing, ultrafast dynamics, and ultrafast systems. Applications:
