Current Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) simulation tools focus on isolated components such as airspace, vertiport sitting, or scheduling, lacking system-wide operational realism. Many platforms cannot accurately model passenger and eVTOL interactions inside vertiports or integrate external optimization algorithms. This limits stakeholders’ ability to evaluate operational strategies, identify bottlenecks, and assess scalability before real-world deployment.
AAMSim is a high-fidelity, multi-agent simulation platform designed to evaluate end-to-end AAM system operations. Built on an event-driven architecture, it models passenger flows, eVTOL movements, and vertiport dynamics while enabling seamless integration of external optimization strategies. The platform supports customizable networks, real-time performance metrics, and scenario-based analysis for operators, researchers, and policymakers.
